P David Pearson on Cognitive Clarity, Organization of Memory, and the Future of Reading Research

Podcast #2

This podcast begins in medias res, that is, David is asserting that he has never been against phonics. He then flash backs to the early Seventies, and we are off to the races wearing our Nikes. Who would want kids not to know what sounds letters make? Just like who would want kids not to know how to use their knowledge of the world?

David packs a nice portion of wisdom from experience in this sixteen minutes. I want to thank him for this opportunity to share him with you and hope to share more of him with you in the near future.
