These are great! Thank you for your thoughtful articles. I'm a high school language arts and history teacher at a small rural school. This is helpful!

As a Christian, I've done lots of research with prayer. It works! The better the questions, the better the answers. Peer review is best!

For now, I think AI isn't all bad. It's very helpful in lesson planning! So many great ideas are kicked out that keep me fresh and innovating. It's not God, but it has it's place.

Some Christians I know are panicking over AI. I'm still gathering data and consulting the expert. Your article is very helpful. Thank you!

I’m so glad, Suzanne! I was afraid to sound, I don’t know, forgive me, preachy:) I understand the panic. The first experience I had with GPT3.5 was frightening. I’d never experienced anything so over the top. It wasn’t until later, when I started to understand what it’s doing, I started to do more than just experiment with it trying to figure it out. My main use now is exploratory. I do have long discussions where very often my prompt is twice as long as the response. I’ve actually published blogs here where instead of cutting and pasting bot output, I cut and pasted my own words in prompts. It works both ways. The bot evokes words from humans somehow. I’m not nearly so fearful, but I am concerned about safety and privacy, especially with children and young adults. I like what Anthropic has done with Constitutional AI. Thank you so much!!!

I've heard of Constitutional AI.

I will check that out.

Yes, I agree with you on privacy issues. I don't think we should just jump on the bandwagon of AI. We've got to reason and think and be human about it and not become bots ourselves! Stay human! Love Truth. Live as free as we possibly can.
