You are hereby invited to ask David about anything that strikes your fancy in the legacy video linked below. David has agreed to have a phone conversation with me that I’ll post here on lTrrTl. I’ve got a few things I want to talk about, but it would be very cool to pick out some centers of interest in the readership. This video gives us a glimpse into an amazing human being who mentored me with his sleeves rolled up as a member of my dissertation committee.
Wow, Terry, how awesome to have P. David Pearson as a mentor.
Lots of ideas he shared resonated with me... one that has me thinking more deeply about is the "ever-expanding notion of context". I don't have a question on this yet, but it's a topic I'm interested in learning more about.
David has been very generous with me with his time and his help. He’s been central in the evolution of many, many doc students over the years. I plan to talk with him in a podcast about his insights into fostering new researchers in grad schools and building structural platforms for new researcher-practitioner engagement.
