I would venture to suggest that AI is not intended to replace humans, but to make the lives of humans easier in other ways so they have more time for the things that matter - connecting with other humans, creating, etc. In business, many daily activities are low-grade language activities that do not move the needle but need to get done. Also, many customers prefer self-service to human support on the phone (frustrating experiences). I agree that AI cannot speak to us like humans do. Btw, love the bot in a boat image!
