Giving so many students A Grades absolutely lowers standards & erodes away the importance of the effort that A grades should have!
And when that increase in A’s happens in the context of poorer high school outcomes - it’s even more disgraceful!
Especially when such a prestigious university admits this failing - what’s happening everywhere else is my question: Are ALL current universities globally doing this simply to get more students & therefore more funding? What has the academic world become? 🙄
